Item in planner no longer available and unable to delete

Hi there

Having spent an unhealthy amount of time on Google on this issue with no results. I thought I'd ask you guys. I have a movie on my recordings list that when I attempt to watch it, it tells me it's no longer available. However, there's no delete option. I've reset the box but that didn't remove the movie. Any ideas anyone? Cheers. Karen

Where is the item you are trying to watch - is it in the Continue Section or Most Recent ?

The Continue Section is not a true listing but a series of links and can often point to something incorrectly

The other option is it got stuck mid-download. That's happened to me before and throws up strange behaviour.

Check Recordings>Manage>Downloading 

If it's in there, delete it and it should disappear from the planner too.

@nigea99 thanks for getting back to me. 

The movie is currently in my recordings. It only had one option which is to watch the movie, but when I select this it tells me the item is no longer available. There is no delete option so I can't remove it from my recordings. Thank you. Karen

Within the recordings there are different tabs - Most Recent being the top one & Continue being the next one down.

So are you going from Most Recent or Continue ? 

Edit : What was the film ?

When  I searched for it it is only showing as available in SKY STore which makes me think that the rights have expired which would explain the no longer available message

Probably one way to remove the entry from your most recent tab is to do a power down restart:

 Use the remote to place it into standby mode

 Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

 Wait at least 30s

 Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Got to recordings - manage - then the tab which tells you how much disk space each program is taking up.

delete from there instead.

Took me months to figure this out lol.
