Discussion topic: Issues with I player sign in

So I go to sign into I player and not getting a code using the sky app

all other apps working

any ideas other than the below

unplugged telly, sky box and router

uodated tv software

updated sky software

can sign in on telly app but not via sky app

so frustrating and can't speak to a real person

any help would be good ?
