Issues getting tv guide to how on new JVC ROKU DTV
I have purchased a new DTV and use a Sky Q TV box. I can use the JVC ROKU partially, but the Sky app continually shows no satellite connection. We are on full fibre connection with Sky.
The new DTV happily connects to the WiFi but appears to fail to get a connection. Please help!

There is no Sky app with a satellite connection. Your Sky Q box needs to connect to the TV via HDMI cable, then you select the appropriate HDMI input using the TV's remote control.

Re: Issues getting tv guide to how on new JVC ROKU DTV
A JVC Roku TV might well have apps for Sky Store, Sky News and NowTV but those cannot be used to view Sky Q subscription content: as @Angel_Aka indicates, a Q box uses an HDMI cable and the television set needs to have the correct HDMI input selected.
No satellite connection probably indicates the Q box isn't connected to its satellite dish, unless you are looking at a built-in satellite tuner in the television set itself.

Presumably you had a old tv to watch Sky though your SkyQ box and you must discontinued a lead that was connected to connected to your Sky Q box from your tv. Take that same lead and now connect from your Sky Q box to your new DTV tv.
