Is paramount + add free
I am currently subscribed to paramount + for £6.99 and got a call the other day from sky offering me sky cinema, which comes with paramount + for free for £9 a month.
I've been considering this deal, but a bit hesitant to what version of paramount I'd be getting as I've read some articles that ads are coming to the uk soon and changes to what would be different tiers.
I'm guessing that sky would be giving me the lowest tier with ads but would be good to know.

Nobody knows what tier of Paramount+ will be bundled 'free' with Sky Cinema in the future. It'll most likely be the lowest tier with ads, similar to Netflix.

I see, guess it's a wait and see then.
I get ad free Netflix with my Sky Q UHD package, wonder if they will offer different prices.

Note that's now different for all new subscriptions and renewals: Sky HD and UHD add-ons no longer upgrade Netflix from the default Standard with Ads.
All the streamers are losing money on their unrealistically low subscription rates, and introducing advertising is a way to claw something back.

As there is only two subscription tiers one being £6.99 and the other being £11.99 I very much doubt Sky's price of £9.00 will not include the ad free tier at £11.99
I got Paramount+ free for 6 months with Sky VIP as I don't have Sky Cinema
It has limited ads but really don't notice them to tell you the truth
My current plan is Standard monthly and the price will be £6.99 after my offer ends in August

Re: Is paramount + add free
See, I currently pay £6.99 directly to paramount and there are no adds.
Strange that you're paying the same through sky but get ads.
The £9 was of course an offer from sky to take sky cinema that's normally £13 (I think) so would have assumed then that if there was a different tier system, like what you mentioned, then it could perhaps be ad free.
I do remember though that when I first got Sky Q, there was Peacock that had ads, but this was pretty annoying as I always felt they were all over the place and would just start while in the middle of a scene.
This experience has really put me off taking Paramount + from Sky because of this.
