I am a SkyQ customer with full fibre to my premises and I subscribe to Ultrafast broadband. My Sky mini-boxes act as wifi extenders and I have a decent stable wireless signal in every room. Would this be compromised if I cancel the Sky boost element of my contrac t as I do not appear to receive any benefit whilst paying for it.

No, as long as you haven't been loaned any Sky booster hardware which wasn't specifically to resolve a Q television issue.
