TV Reception is very bad. Keeps breaking up.

Sky App info suggests weather may be affecting the signal. There has been heavy rain and possibly some thunder around. But that's not unusual in this country!!

I'm in donegal tv keeps freezing on virgin 2 and some other channels

How does that impact where there is not a drop of rain or thunder???
