Have you confirmed with the home management that they allow satellite dishes to be fitted to their outer wall? If not do they have a communal dish?
Surely the TV in his room has Freeview available to watch.

Hopefully Sky were made of this and will send an appropriate engineer (who will need access to the dish/equipment).

My dad has moved into a nursing home and is feeling very anxious and sad. We hoped having familiar surroundings will help. A big part of this is watching sports. His installation was due yesterday and they did not turn up, no contact at all from sky, I made numerous calls to see where they were. We have not heard anything up to now, and he is sitting in his room with no television feeling very isolated. Please can someone escalate this problem as I don't know how to help him.
