Idea to extend sky booster
Hello
My Sky Q stup is as follows. Sky Q main connected via ethernet to my non sky router. 2 Sky Q minis connected via ethernet - all works fine.
I want to connect a 3rd mini in my summerhouse. Using ethernet is not an option. I tried connecting it using a sky q booster using wifi but the wifi connection is too flaky and keeps freezing. I think the problem is the connection between the main box and the booster, not the booster and the 3rd mini.
My idea was to run an ethernet cable from my router to the booster to basically elliminate the flaky connection between the two. Then use the booster to connect the 3rd mini through wifi from the booster. Can the booster work this way or does it use wifi in and out so to speak?
Thanks

Re: Idea to extend sky booster
You can certainly use ethernet cable that way, but this cannot increase the broadcast power of the 'booster'.

Re: Idea to extend sky booster
No but that doesn't seem to be a problem for the downstream connection to the third mini
