I live in UK but pay for a sky tv subscription for my disabled brother in Ireland. He lives alone and is housebound and his tv is the only thing he has in his life. He asked me to add sky sports to his package and he will pay for it. Do I need to do anything to his tv for this to be accessed. I don't want his current viewing to be disturbed as I live in Uk and he doesn't have a carer to help with it. Anyone know how seamless adding to sky Q is? He has problems with his hands so even using the remote is difficult. I can't find a number to contact anyone in sky Ireland about this. Thank you.
Just ring them with the details and going by my experience the update is instant, mine was done before I was off the phone. But with Sky Q it may be a case of powering off box with remote and then back on.
