ITV X not accepting my password

Hi I cant get  into ITV X on my TV ???

All other ipads , phones around the house for the 4 of us are ok and we get it on all our other gadgets.

Sky TV app won't accept the password (which is the same for all our other gadgets and allows use on with them), it just says incorrect password all the time???

I am not sure why this would be the case as the app on SKY Q uses the same ITV systems to authenticate. 

I always find SKY Q entry of passwords a little clumsy - do you get a 6 digit code to be able to enter via another device - I used that which was far easier than typing in my credentials in full

@Keith+DickoThe first time I used ITVX I had to register it to the Q box, this involved going to the Web site shown, there was a QR code but that did not work.

Once on the Web site there was a code to enter in the ITVX app once this was done ITVX worked with no further password/code needed.

However I found ITVX painfully slow to start with plenty of black screen, you have to be patient, once running there were annoying black screens before the adverts showed, it may be different if you have the paid for version.
