I have just bought a new LG TV and every so often I get a HDCP error? How do I resolve?

The error does appear intermittently, if I remove the HDMI cable and then reconnect into the same port it resolves the issue, but comes back a few days later..?

Have you tried a different HDMI cable @Steve400

Not yet, does this normally resolve the issue? Have used a different port in tv but had the issue again.

it's one of the first things to try with any HDMI issues.

It is the one supplied with the box, only had the box about 3-4 months

There have been a number of issues reported on 'avforums' with the latest LG TV's (I have a G4), including:

HDCP connection issues

Intermittent sound dropouts

Intermittent video dropouts

 

I have updated to the latest software (3.11.05) which helped, and turned off 'quick start', and now I hardly have any issues.

 

Hopefully, future updates will fix more things.
