Hello,
I am currently in between nightshifts and got an engineer coming out today to install sky Q, I was wondering how long this will take just so I can prep myself for being tired..

Expect it to take about two to three hours at most, unless the engineer encounters any problems.
It will involve dish installation, drilling and running the satellite cables from outside to inside, with good ladder safety practices.
Inside work will be running the satellite cables to your chosen TV position.
Setting up of the Sky Q box, viewing card and any Sky Q mini/s and connecting all to your TVs along with the remotes to control both the TV and Sky Q box.
Connecting it all up with your broadband router. So engineer will need your broadband router connection details and will run some Sky Q mesh tests on their equipment.
Engineer will run through with you how it works.
There is a Sky help article for what the engineer will do for a new install or any problem fix;
