Re: How do I make a formal complaint about Sky
I'm sure there is more to this than what you are posting on here as it would be extremely unusual for Sky not to send an engineer out even if there is a wait of a few weeks.
To cancel you would need to give Sky your 31 days notice to leave by calling them.

Re: How do I make a formal complaint about Sky
What was the reason given for the refusal? Have you definitely got Sky Q as Sky don't send engineers for Sky+ issues?

Re: How do I make a formal complaint about Sky
@Richard94 The moving of a Sky Q box is your responsibility, it isn't up to Sky to do this, is there a reason why you can't do this yourself?
Sky will install & repair your system, but not move a box inside your home, why do you believe Sky should?

Sky will typically book an installer to relocate a satellite feed cable to a main Q box, for which they will charge a fee. This isn't a priority task, though, and there could be quite a wait for availability.
Note that you can complain to Sky, but complaining about them isn't likely to be productive as they have no regulated obligation to carry out such work.
You could also employ and pay an independent contractor.
