Not everyone has a TV that has the caperbility.
It is great that you have the ability to watch ITVx but quite annoying that you keep posting that this isn't an issue, for many people it is an issue. If you don't have a TV that enables you to watch ITVx, watching on a tablet just isn't as enjoyable for many people.

I think they are just highlighting to others that some TVs that didn't get the app in time for the official launch of ITV X have now managed to get it.
Whilst these groups are for SKY, a helpful community will try to asssist others outside the immediate remit
Unfortunately, as advised, SKY Q won't be getting it until the new year -
We know this is frustrating for people who are wanting it but I feel I have to say that it was never advertised that it would be available on SKY Q for any specific date
If your TV can't get, if you can't wait until the new year, then it is available via various add on devices such As Amazon Firesticks, Roku Sticks, Apple TV boxes etc.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreITV X has a free tier and a premium tier that includes Britbox. I've signed up to ITV X premium on my Apple TV 4K and cancelled my Britbox subscription. I'm wondering if there is an outstanding licencing issue since Britbox has never been available on Sky Q.

Personally I don't think so.
As much as that Britbox has some core subscribers in the UK, I think it is possibly limited to a generally older demographic here (of course I could be wrong) - unlike the US where it is a major source of British TV that we get on the linear channels.
Thus my guess is that Britbox was not big enough to be considered worth the effort
Let's not forget that the ITV Hub app was announced in a joint ITV / SKY press announcement in July 2021 as coming to SKY Q & didn't actually get implemented
P.S. I have yet to cancel my Britbox & sign up to ITV X Premium

Fair comment@Littlegirl apologies to those who don't have a compatible tv.
My V2 2TB Sky Q box doesn't do iplayer in UHD but the latest V3 2TB Sky Q box does no problem for me just watch it on another device simple.
Most people also have smart tv's with web browers watch it via the Web browser on your tv if it's connected to the Internet
If Sky Q was the only platform itX was available on but it isn't though
Sky Q maybe the one box for everything but sometimes you may have to think outside of the box.

When will ITVX be available. I understand it’s already on the sky Glass. Favoritism? Why? Surely it's straightforward. Create app stream!

SKy Glass / Stream had the old ITV Hub and the ITV App is the only way that they can watch any ITV content (live or catch up / on demand). ITV X - like other platforms has just replaced ITV Hub there
SKY Q have the linear channels as well as On Demand / Catch up (albeit limited)
The app has to be tailored & tested on every different platform & the ITV date slipped into a period in December when SKY have a 'freeze' on updates to SKY Q.

LG TV's have updated their menus to ITV X (so you think you've got it), but still use the old ITV Hub. So no live channels and still SD.
