Hello pls can you help my sky remote stopped working even after changing the battery

After checking the basics, ie; re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (apparently this is not available to customers in the ROI).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer or larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.

To be fair a normal height fall onto carpet/wooden flood may indicate there was an underlying hardware issue with the remote, it's just fast tracked the process the fact it was dropped.

In my experience Sky Q remotes are quite rugged, whether that's a dog chewing it or my little 4 year old throwing it around.
Sky should replace it free of charge, but as you've told us that you dropped it they might not, (like telling a copper you were the one who robbed a bank)
