Help! Activating discovery plus.

I'm a new customer to Sky but for the life of me I can't figure out how to activate my discovery +   
I go through everything it tells me to do, I've opened an account with them but if I scan qr code and get to the activation page and it just goes round and around constantly. I've spoken to a discovery + agent but he didn't know what to do so how am I supposed to know. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I can't watch certain programmes until this is sorted but it's honestly driving me crazy. I have it on my iPhone but I can't do anything else with it. As I said, I've only just joined Sky so I'm seriously thinking of cancelling it all together. Why pay for something I can't get so if anyone can help me I'd be very appreciative.

It's very easy - what does "going round and round in circles" mean? What exactly happens?. Scan the QR with the phone camera app (never use 3rd party QR scanners) Takes you to a D+ authentication page. Log in. That's about it as far as I can remember. Maybe type in an on-screen code identifying the Sky box?

My meaning is the circle showing it's trying to load the page. 
I've tried using my phone to take the qr code and the app for qr codes and neither works. I've tried using mobile connection and WiFi but the page won't load the activation page. 😱🤯

Oh THAT going round and round 😄 ok. This is on the phone? What if you logout from discoveryplus on the phone first and then start again? It should prompt you to login.

do other apps on the Q work ok?

Never use apps for QR codes. They're a massive security risk.

I have a password for discovery plus but then from their app they want me to pay for it when I'm supposed to have it free through sky! 
I am going completely insane trying to sort it out. I even called discovery plus and they asked me to take a photo of what the page does but it doesn't do anything and that's the blimmin point. 🧐🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂😂
