Free 3 month Apple + TV for VIPS

I have had the free 6 months of Apple TV but  I spotted a new 3 month free Apple TV on my VIP page.  Tried to get it but Apple said I have reached my code limit.  The vip page said for new and returning customers but is this wrong?  Is there a limit to how many times you can get Apple through Sky free?

If you have had several free trial of Apple services (not just Apple TV+) then they can restrict use of codes for a while. 
If you have a partner or family member with an Apple ID you can get them to activate the code on their Apple account and use family sharing to allow your Apple ID to access the free Apple TV+ subscription. 
I've had free Apple TV+ for over two years by doing this, including a total of 15 months courtesy of Sky.
