Favourites channel up down button not keeping to just favourites listing.

I have set up the favourites for my dad who just watches a few channels and found the menu system tricky.
The back button on the remote works great to take him straight into  last tv channel when the Home Screen pops up. But I noticed a weird bug, or maybe there is a work around I just not come across.
When you cycle through the favourites it does it in the correct order but then when you reach the end (20 channels) instead of going back to the start, it leaves the favourites listing and starts in the full channel listing.

Seem strange to do that, as when you in favourites one would expect it just to cycle in a loop on favourites when using the channel up and down buttons.
Any suggestions, as if I can get this working, then it helps my dad use the sky q as much as possible to the old sky +, which we just upgraded from. Trying to help make it work easy for him.

hi @Northwestrambler

I am afraid you can't limit it to just the favourites.

Also going the other way from 1 takes you to the radio channels

As far as the system is concerned the favourites are just single/double channel numbers in the full list

That all said Favourites are very useful for grouping the most used channels together and easier to select

Voice control can  also be handy

Ah that is a shame, would be nice to add that small feature, it would make such a difference for many older generations.

I would guess it would be a small coding change to do, as they already grouped in favourites and simply having a check around it.

SKY Q does only have a few years left & unfortunately development on SKY Q has effectively stopped and probably only the only changes that will be done in future will be app related or possibly accessibility related.

Thre are probably many minor tweaks that they could have done but never did - personally I have always thought that once favourites were set that the TV Guide should default to the Favourites tab than all channels

We do know that the move from SKY HD can be a bit of a jar and not everything is obvious, if there are any things that you are unsure of that you think would assist your father or anything else do feel free to ask - we may be able to help, although no guarantee
