Hello All
I have had SKY Q since 2016, and never got on with the "premium" remote that came with it, as it was way too sensitive when navigating with the touch pad. I think they updated them later with voice command and better touchpad.
Anyway, I used the supplied secondry remote back then (again without voice command) and it's been fine up until now, as the volume buttons do not respond anymore.
Have reset the remote and re-paired, but the volume buttons just work when they want to.
So, I went back to the premium remote but just hate the thing, it's frustratingly too sensitive.
Is there a procedure to replace the secondry remote at all please (or even an up to date premium one)?
Thank you.... 😊

@Daniel0210 , thanks very much for the information.
I have managed to order a replacement from the link you provided.
In the list of faults Sky was asking for, "sensitive touch pad " was in there.
I guess this was a problem with the early main remotes.
Thanks again. 😀

Re: Faulty Sky Q remote - possible to replace?
@Technik21
If your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (there is the possibility this is not available to customers in the ROI).

In the meantime it may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.
