Faulty Sky Q box

I have had the box for some time (7 years) and it is now showing signs of age. On occasion the sound will fade especially talking so that it can't be heard. At other times the screen will freeze , the only remedy

 is to unplug the the box. and reset up. At other times it will freeze and judder and again the only remedy is to unplug and reboot.

I had to reboot it twice last night. As the problems are intermittent it will not show up on your systems check.

I think a new box is called for.

 Possibly but you'll have to contact Sky to ask that.

 

Remember to remove your viewing card if you do swap it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
