Re: Fault with cable from dish to box
You'll need to call Sky. Likely to cost £65 for the callout.

Re: Fault with cable from dish to box
...or contact a local firm - this may be quicker but more expensive than Sky.
If you're proficient you may be able to repair the cut yourself? (Details can be provided here if interested)

Re: Fault with cable from dish to box
You could get the cable from somewhere like argos and if you are able replace it yourself, ok b&q or any tv electrical supplier , even amazon sell the cable and the controllers

hi @November
I am guessing you have tried calling and the 'bot' has referred you here.
Unfortunately, you are not in an interactive chat with SKY customer services but on the customer help customer forums.
You will need to persevere calling or possibly try the Social media chat services - see below
When tallking to the 'bot' it might be easier to stay silent to see ifit links you to an adviser.
I believe these are the current methods for contacting Sky. Depending on your reason for making contact some methods are more appropriate than others …
call Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline.
All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
Note: if your services are restricted due to a missed payment phone contact is unlikely to work.
online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
At the end of the help it MAY provide a phone number if it's appropriate.
Sky Assistant is now available at the top of sky.com/help (or as a chat bubble bottom right if used before) for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It will provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, or Instagram (links at the bottom of the forum page).
BTW If it is a cut cable SKY might charge you - although probably not. There may be a wait for an engineer & it might be quicker to contact a local independent Satellite installer - althoug they would definitely charge
