Faint vertical lines on screen

I have coloured faint thin vertical lines on my screen when watching sky. It's not the tv as it's fine with DvD's and watching an app through the actual television. It's only when watching Sky. I have a sky q box

Powering the Q box down and back on again often fixes visual gremlins.

If it doesn't, ensure the HDMI is fully plugged in (try a different one if possible).

If that fails then it may be a fault with the box - you'll need to contact Sky.
