Failed No Sub -cancel contract?

I moved house and since then I get a 'failed no subscription' for downloading. I've had 2 engineers attend my home and yesterday they gave me a new box but still I have the same problem. I've decided that I'd like to leave. My question is, can I cancel my contract on the basis the services is not there? I'd prefer not to have responses to this query recommending how to fix as I've tried all options. Thank you

You'll have to ask Sky - if you are not subject to a minimum term then simply give notice.

If you are in a minimum term then they may say no.  However, if you have had the recent price increase notification then you can leave anyway.

I presume everything else is working, just not downloads?  (AIUI it's a back-end configuration issue that won't be solved by swapping boxes)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
