FIX: Signed into the wrong netflix account through sky package
After spending a very frustrating 4 hours on the phone between Netflix and Sky after I inputted one digit of my email address wrong and created a whole new Netflix account.... Save yourself the back and forth of sky saying can't do anything call netflix, netflix saying only sky can sort it, sky saying no call netflix, netflix sending you a script to tell sky.. which then prompts Sky's back office intervention for over an hour....
So here's the fix:
Sky will send you the following link via text. Make sure you are signed out of your correct email address netflix account first before clicking the link.
Hi, it's Sky! Please Go to Sky.com/shop/netflix/activate.
Click the recover my netflix account button
It will show you the incorrect email address and give you a number to call for Netflix to the email address and directly below it a service code.
Screen shot this. Call the netflix number it provides they'll ask you for your correct netflix account email, the incorrect email you have used, and the service code. And they will manually update the email address. Your sky netflix app then resets and you begin the login process again and it instantly says this is connected to sky as part of your package 🙌🏼
