Ethernet wired SKQ erors and multiple MACs

SKq 2TB with 3 Minis.  Large house fully wired and concrete/brick walls - wifi is a challenge - 2TB box on 2nd floor, minis on ground.   We have chosen to use SKQ wired.  Main house switch is a Netgear manged pro switch.

Problem 1 :Sky Q network port shows error packets every ~10 seconds (varies depending upon how many minis are active).   Is there an issue with the SkyQ ?.  No other devices report error packets, and if they ever do, it's a genuine HW issue.  Occasional link down events also.  Should I get Sky to change the box?

Problem 2: We are getting a lot of 'blue screen' SKYQ main box lost connection to router/internet and a simple restart often does not cure it (need several).  Looking at the port, a link is established, but the sky box is reporting it cannot access the router, and the switch is not showing any mac addresses on the port.  Clears eventually with multiple power cycles of the Sky box.

The SKYQ status panel list 3 mac addresses for ethernet, 2.4 and 5.   As expected.

The switch shows 5 (FIVE) mac addresses being used by the wired ethernet port - the main one that requests the IP (90-...-C9), another one that is almost the same (90-..-C8),  and 3 others (D4...) - are these used to communicate with the  Minis?

Re: Ethernet wired SKQ erors and multiple MACs

Unfortunately managed switches and SkyQ don't play ball.
