Ethernet connection

If I hardwire Sky Q to router with Ethernet cable and reset it will it disable my 2 miniboxes?

No, as your mini boxes will be connecting to the main Q box via its own wireless network.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

you will find though that the Q will not use ethernet reliably while it also has wifi enabled.
