Ethernet cable

Hi what's the best Ethernet cable to connect to my broadband BT box 

have a to about 10m between by and sky box

I believe Cat5e cable should be all you need (although I think you would also be fine with older Cat5)

As @nigea99 suggests, Cat5e (or Cat 6 at most)

 

The stuff to avoid is copper clad aluminium cable (CCA) which shouldn't claim to qualify for a Cat rating.
