I recommend sky to my mum, they sold her sky streaming to which she's had no end of trouble, eventually someone checked her broadband speed and they said she should never have been sold it, if only someone had checked her postcode when they sold it her. She's then had to wait over a month for a sky engineer to come today between 12/5pm they never turned up no notification yet if she cancelled it would be a fine for her. She's rang up and now they said it's the end of January for an engineer to come out and set up her sky q box, this service is unacceptable, she lives on her own and relies on her tv for entertainment. She's rang can't cancel as she signed a 2 year contract.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThose are the timeframes these days I'm afraid. My son signed up for Sky Q on 23 November and engineer is due on 23 December. There are far fewer Sky satellite engineers these days following a spate of redundancies.
