EE Hub and Sky Q not connecting

Hi All

Got a new EE hub and everything was fine then about 7 weeks into the new hub all my Sky Q boxes stopped working with live TV. I can access all the apps etc but live channels are blank blue screen. Had Sky out who blamed EE, had EE out who tested everything and said it's all connected so now I'm stuck with no TV! Have tried all the obvious things but still no joy! Hoping someone may have a solution on here!!!

Given a main Q box doesn't use broadband at all for live television (and Mini boxes use WiFi but not broadband) that's rather confusing: I don't see why either company would be investigating the Hub...

Re: EE Hub and Sky Q not connecting

@TimmyBGood I believed it to be a sky issue however when the engineer came out (not me at home but my wife) he apparently said it was a broadband issue as he apparently connected boxes through a 'WiFi' he had and everything was working then when we went back on to my home broadband I got blank blue screens

The thing is, live television to a main Q box is over the coaxial cable feed from the dish, and output is over HDMI cable: broadband isn't a factor.

Is the EE Hub actually on top of or immediately adjacent to the Q box?  I guess very local EMF interference could be an issue.

Re: EE Hub and Sky Q not connecting

@TimmyBGood  Main router is down stairs (been there for last 6 years with no issue) and there is a WiFi disc about a meter away from main Q box (where I had always had one for last 6 years)

Do you think it sounds like a Sky issue?

Yes, and I'm surprised their first response wasn't to swap out the main Q box, and then investigate the dish and cable.

Re: EE Hub and Sky Q not connecting

@TimmyBGood  I will contact Sky again and see what they say and his time around.
