Dreaded Blue Scren

For several months now I have been plagued with an error message that only appears when I am watching a recording on my Sky minibox upstairs. The picture goes and I get a blue screen with " You can't currently watch TV as there's an issue with the connection between this Mini Box and your SkyQ box". The sound keeps playing for a few seconds and then that goes as well. About 8 seconds later sound and picture are restored, and I have lost about 2 seconds of the programme.   This can happen 3 or 4 times in a 30 minute programme.

I have had years of no problems until this started.

I have reset the Sky Q box and mini box many times, but the problem still occurs.

It also happens on the downstairs Mini box, which is only 3 feet from the broadband router.

 

Does anyone have any idea what to try?
