Downloading and other issues

Hi everyone.   I have suddenly started getting a series of problems, apparently related to broadband.   I am a Sky customer with a Q Box and mini Q.   Broadband in general seems to be slower than usual, programmes are taking literally hours to download, all streamed programmes are constantly buffering and there are occasion lip-synch issues.  I have run through all the usual checks on both boxes and everything looks ok, with all the necessary ticks in place.    Any ideas?

Hi @JBaker

Suggest you first reboot you router if you haven't already.

Disconnect power lead for 30 secs and then reconnect to reboot.

Wait until the router is completely back up and running and then carry out a Network reset on the main Q box.

Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
As you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.

Re: Downloading and other issues

Many thanks @oldfella .   Turns out I needed a software update.  Am hoping that's resolved things.
