Download failed, no subscription

Trying to download Season 7, Episode 12 or Billiond and I keep getting the same 'download failed, no subscription' message. It's driving me mad. I've updated and restarted my Sky Q box.

 

I always have one problem or another. Can't wait to get rid of it 🙂 not worth the money at all.

 

Anybody know why this is happening and how to resolve?

There is another post here concerning the Episode @Theyrealltaken 

Looks like the download is faulty.

When you reach level 3 you can edit your posts

Regardings Billions

First check that you are not trying to Download or view HD or UHD content without the Q HD or UHD Subscription pack.
The Sky Q Sports pack and BT Sport if you subscribe through Sky are in HD as Standard.
Sky Cinema if you subscribe is also in HD.
Sky Signature includes BoxSets and Entertainment channels only in SD as standard.
Only free to air channels such as BBC, ITV etc are in HD. The Q HD pack is required for all other Sky Signature HD content, including Catch Up in HD, On Demand in HD and BoxSets in HD
If you do not have the Optional HD pack you need to change the Download to SD in All Formats (as HD is the default setting).
So that you do not need to do this every time it’s best to change your Download preference to SD in Home - Settings - Setup - Preferences.
This needs to be done on the main Q box.
Then if you want to download any HD content from free to air channels (BBCHD ,ITVHD etc) you can select HD in the All formats tab of the content . This will change the format for that particular download only but still leave your format to SD in preferences.

Yes, fails for me too.  HD works, UHD doesn't.

Thanks. I did search beforehand but couldn't see any other posts about it. I presume where you've put 'here' that is supposed to be a link? Is that another thing I can't see/do until I'm level 3? This obviously isn't aimed at you, but I'm not sure how limiting functionality until you reach a certain level is useful. It's just a hinderance.

Yes, but I'm not aware of any level restriction for links...  (Looks like @oldfella hasn't done the link or the gremlins have been fed after midnight)

I cant see if anyone has been abole to resolf this issue ? 

I have had this problem for 4 weeks,  Unable to download anything. 

Download Failed no subsription.

 

Have had a new Q box,

New vewing card

Account packages re-set 

Sky engineer is unable to resolve the issue.

 

What else can be done ?

Still Sky have not been able to fix the problem 😞 

Engineers come out and cant find a fault, i phon eup and complain... and its a endless roundabout !

I'm having the same problem download failed no subscription this is for return of the Jackal episode 9 in SD. Boxed changed, multiple engineer visits, hours on the phone with sky customer service team, I even called my internet provider just in case. There are no restrictions to my internet, I can record from live but I can't record for undemand without getting the error message download failed no restrictions. At least today I was offered a month rebate on the bill which is helpful but all I want to do is to watch return of the Jackal episode 9 and 10 and Dune prophecy episode 5 and 6 on TV. I suspect Sky is going to ask me to cancel my contract if this goes on. A pity. I've been with SKY for almost 20 years.

I have resolved this problem , taken 2 months ! The problem is BT Sogea broad band line ! We unplugged this line and used a back up BT business broadband line and all fine !!! We plugged the Sogea line back in and instantly got the failed to download !
