Good morning, I am having a doorstep swap this morning for a new Sky Q box. Does anyone know if you have to return the handset control as well?

hi @Lizzie27May 

In theory you replace the mains lead, HDMI cable & remoote control along with the box

In reality, you can just send the ones that arrive with the new box back. if you prefer

Also be aware that if you have a 2 TB box some boxes have a separate power supply so if you have one you need to send that back also and check the new one & if that needs it make sure you get one (the socket on the back of the Q box for this is a small multipin connector)

Remember to take your viewing card out of your old box as you will need it for the new box
