Does anyone have a sky digibox that gets hot

We have a digibox in the bedroom but the digibox is getting hot. Is this normal.

Yes, they get hot.

However, can you confirm exactly what box this is?  You've posted in Q forum - so is it main Q box or mini?

It is a minibox. The big box downstairs is fine. It was only installed 3 months ago.

The mini boxes do get warm on top and will feel warmer than usual in the hot weather.

Ok, the main box generally gets hotter.

But if it's unbearable to touch then I'd recommend calling Sky for a possible replacement.  (Just tested mine and can just about bear holding my palm on it - but still quite toasty)
