Sorry if this has been covered in previous posts! We have SKY Q, are moving house and will not have broadband for a month or so. The new place has a dish/aerial etc and we have confirmed the house move with SKY. Does anyone know what we will and won't be able to view without a broadband connection? I'm guessing the apps (Netflix/Prime etc) may not work but standard SKY channels should all be ok?

Re: Do I need broadband to run SKY Q
Thanks for this, appreciated, will the Netflix/Prime apps work too or do they require broadband?

You may need to be aware that an existing dish does not, necessarily, mean that SKY Q will work as the LNB (the electronic bit on the dish) may be different ( Used for Freesat or SKY HD). Also there is a slim chance that it may be out of alignment.
I believe SKY do check this and replace if needed so it could depend on when that is scheduled, if it not suitable for SKY Q

Also note that Q Mini boxes require an active internet router to be present (although not a live internet connection)
