Ditched Mini-boxes and BBC and other channels disappeared from Sky Go

This may be a coincidence but we recently dropped the Mini-boxes from our Sky subscription taking effect 2 days ago.  Now BBC and other non-BBC channels have disappeared from Sky Go.  No other changes to our Sky channels and packages.  Any ideas what's going on gratefully received.  Thanks

The BBC channels  only work on SKY Go with a Multiscreen subscription

To use BBC without Multiscreen  you need to use iPlayer

Which other channels ?

Re: Ditched Mini-boxes and BBC and other channels disappeared from Sky Go

Sky Go (since ditching Multiroom) no longer shows non-Sky film channels, and +1 channels.  I accept what you say about the BBC channels..  My biggest concern was that I asked the Sky advisor if returning miniboxes would lose anything else and was told no.  I can see that watching live TV at home might be considered "Multiroom" but I've also lost the ability to record the missing channels on my Sky Q box when away from home.  I used to be able to schedule record in Sky Go away from home but now that the channels don't show in the listings it's impossible.

@viewer2015 when yoyu are trying to record from the Sky Go app you need to clcik on the option at the top that says record to Sky box this then allows you to record all channels even the BBC channels and the movie channels you are talking about

Re: Ditched Mini-boxes and BBC and other channels disappeared from Sky Go

Thanks for replying.  Unfortunately my iPad Sky Go doesn't' show the "lost" channels so there is no record option at all for those.  The listings aren't visible so I can't click a programme and get to the "record to Sky box" option I've used successfully for years.

@viewer2015 I don't have an apple device but have android phones and tablets but when you open the Sky go app along the bottom, click on the TV guide, along the top of the TV guide are 2 options Watch on Tablet (which is the default option) and Record to Sky Box see pictures below click on the record to Sky box and it will bring up all the channels including the BBC channels etc
