Disney plus subscription
Just had 3 emails in 12 hours telling the cost of Disney plus subscription is going up.
i only watch 3 programmes on there and no longer think it's worth the cost think £10.99 new price is really excessive for monthly add on charge for just one app when most charge an average of £5.99
if I had chiildren might have considered it but just to watch 3 tv series.
im annoyed that they have gone from sky witness to Disney plus anyway and that I had to pay extra
but I really can't justify new price think its extortionate.
wonder how many customers they face losing with this change in price could justify £1 but not £3.00 that's £131.88 a year for just 1 tv channel

Re: Disney plus subscription
Hi, i agree. I tried to downgrade to the £7.99 Standard Plan but was told by the adviser that the £10.99 was the only subscription that Sky do. So looks like I will be cancelling and signing up with Disney plus direct to get it at £7.99!

Re: Disney plus subscription
Even paying Disney directly, the price is going up. I was paying £7.99 a month directly to Disney and received an email to say prices were going up but if I swapped to annual subscription before 31st October I would pay £79 for 12 months and save instead of paying £10.99 a month or £130 annual from 1st November.

Re: Disney plus subscription
Yes I've just seen my bill and noticed Disney had increased to 10.99 a month, been a sky customer for many years, and my bill just keeps increasing.or programs I was watching within my subscription are now not there ,been removed by sky .if I could find where you cancell an app or service I would .that seems an impossible task cannot find /or speak to anyone these days at sky .going to do what others are doing buying a code and get sky for £60 a year !

Re: Disney plus subscription
I cancelled my disney plus through sky cause I was told I couldn't downgrade. They said I wouldn't be able to watch it on sky if it wasn't paid through them. I have just set up my new account direct with disney and just thought I would check on my sky q and my new account it is there!

Whoever told you that you could not use the app om SLY Q if you did not pay through SKY was wrong.
I don't think any of the apps (the main ones at least) are limited to subscriptions via SKY
The apps work like they do on any other device - you just need valid credentials irrespective of how/where you pay
