Disney plus separate to sky

I don't want to change my Disney plus to sky and I'm sick of them trying to do it every time I open the app. I won't be staying with sky much longer as I am super annoyed with the increased adverts and the fact that prices go up even though they keep losing sport to other commercial leaches like bt. Is there a way to stop them trying to change my subscription when I open the app?

Hi @SH94   Are you saying that you have already logged into Disney+ using your own Disney+ account, but it doesn't save your login details?

Re: Disney plus separate to sky

Let me know as we also in the same thing. Always change the Maybe Later option but as of yesterday we get an error occurred error code 73 and we carnt access the channel period.

I am not the holder, my dad is and can do without the hassle. Ive tried a few things to try get it working but none have worked. Told him he must call either disney+ (best bet) or sky. As nothing i have tried has worked, except having to reset-up the mini box's each and every time which is annoying.

No, every time I try and open the Disney plus app from the sy remote it tries to get me to change Disney plus to my sky acvount. I don't want to and I want it to stop asking me to.

no whenever you click launch disney+ you get a message everytime asking to set up disney+ with sky OR continue using you log-in you already have by choosing teh maybe later option.

Dont want to use sky option as we dont want it to bork up the disney+ account PLUS its add free and sky+ version is NOT

@SH94

Do you have extra member with Disney +   which is why you don't want to switch?

If not please may I ask why you don't want to switch to gain the benefit of the SKY subscription subsidy -  as subscribers to all tiers gain a saving - I am saving even though I had the premium tier with an annual discount at last years rates

Anyway as you wish not to switch, I am afraid I can't remember the options when you try to log in to help you login without switching - perhaps you could remind of the options - maybe post a screenshot ?

I see you posted whislt I was typing my earlier reply so I now see your problem - I am sorry I don't know a way of stopping it prompting you - I thought it might after you had re-logged in but from your response I guess not

One further question  / observation @SH94

Do you have access to the Disney + app on your TV or another device such as Firestick or Apple TV box ?

If you do, althought it might be slightly more inconvenient requiring a different remote etc but we do generally recommend using the apps on TVs or other devices as SKY Q is now an ageing platform Tech wise & is likely to be slower response wise as well as not supporting Dolby Vision

(I only use the SKY Q apps for testing things - I use my Firesticks, almost exclusively, for apps)
