Disgusting service

I have been having issues with the wife for days now. I can no longer watch TV on the sky Q mini box which is in the bedroom. This is a major issue as my partner is seriously unwell so spends majority of time in bed. I pay such a lot each month for a very poor service. Doesn't help that you can't speak to a real person on the phone. Has anyone looked elsewhere and have recommendations for other providers? I've been with Sky for 10 years now. Not prepared to keep having the same issues over and over again and paying the amount I am each month.

Typically you'd need to persist with calling Sky to arrange for a Q booster to be delivered, or acquire your own hardware such a Powerline networking adaptors.

 

The 'other providers' of subscription television channels are NowTV (also a Sky Group company), Virgin Media within the areas served by their private broadband network and BT/EE TV which is only available on BT/EE broadband.
