DUG1 error code ID:696c4c
I can see this has been discussed but I can't see any answers - would someone summarise please what I need to do. I get this technical error when I try to access Sky Sports +.

Hi
I had a chat with someone and they asked me to check if the box was connected to the internet and it is. They asked me to check if other Apps such as BBC iPLayer and UTube work and they dont, they just load and then dont do anything. With Sky Sports Plus we get this error. I need more help please and we need to be able to access Sky Sports Plus before the weekend!

Tried rebooting your router? What router and ISP is it?
try changing your DNS on the Q box to 1.1.1.1

Its Talk Talk and this is the router but not sure what more I can say apart from I have rebooted and still no joy.

Try changing the DNS, can fix some issues with glitchy streaming services on the Q

Really have no idea how to change the DNS, sorry, very basic knowledge if any.

These settings say for advanced users only. Can someone else help resolved this error please?

If it's not working you aren't going to make it any worse... Try setting the DNS as suggested.

I think I may make it worse in that the rest of the Sky channels are working and I dont want to affect that. Thanks for your response though.

They don't use the internet connection. You can't do any harm trying this. Just set it back to Auto if it makes no difference.
