New TV replacing faulty Samsung; this Toshiba has FireTV OS. I have managed to set it to control the soundbar but just can't get the skyQ remote to control this TV (e.g. to be able to switch the TV off with the long press like it worked before with the Samsung) after numerous attempts going through 'hold 1 & 3' etc. and the available (14 in all for this make) Toshiba brand chosen options. I read somewhere else about a FireTV series 4 and JVC codes working but also tried that with no luck. Spent about 50 minutes on customer helpline yesterday concluding the TV is - as the screen displays after the 14 Toshiba tries - currently unsupported. I asked the customer sercice chap to escalate email to the their techy guys but not holding my breath for a quick response. Does anyone have any suggestions, please?
