Contract renewal offer

New contract offer: £94 incl discounts...

Sky Signature £25.50

Sky Sports Complete £30.00

Sky HD £8.00

Netflix - Premium (Ultimate add-on) £11.50

Multiscreen £15.00

Sky Ultra HD £4.00

Bearing in mind I have been a continuous Sky customer for over 25 years, could I or should I be getting a better deal??

Be great to hear some of your thoughts...

Unfortunately recent posts suggest that decent discounts have been and gone. It's more likely to be in the order of a few pounds rather than 30-50% or so in the past.

Re: Contract renewal offer

Depending on any other comments received I may give them another shot this evening or tomorrow but, as you say, you don't get the great offers any longer. Cheers.

Hi @MPos1971   I don't believe you will get anything better. Hesitation normally means it goes up.

Re: Contract renewal offer

As an existing customer, Sky offered me everything you have, with 2x mini boxes for £72.50 per month for 24 months. I haven't accepted yet.

@hanks1878

You will be very lucky if you get that quote again. In my experience,  said discounts and offers are only available at time of discussion. If you want to think about it and call them back, those discounts are no longer available and you may be quoted a higher price as happened with me.

I was out of contract in October, so phoned in September to renew. I wasnt happy with quoted price. Was told new offers will be released in October and to call back then. I called back and offers were even worse than before so left it thinking I'l wait till i'm out of contract. So phoned again after contract ran out only to be told that offers were even more worse. They were only interested in trying to sell my Stream which is no good as my broadband is not very good as cannot get full fibre. I was eventually passed to retentions who managed to get discounts down to £28 off full price for Q, even with managers special codes. I'm paying roughly the same as @MPos1971  £90.50 for TV and £40 for Superfast broadband.

I could have got Stream for less than half of that.

LG OLED65C3" 4K HDR TV
Sky Q 2Tb HDR
Mini Box

Sky Superfast Broadband

Re: Contract renewal offer

I was told I have until Thursday as Friday the deal will be gone. I already have 1 Gig Broadband with Virgin Media, which came with a 360 box for basic TV programmes. I also have free calls on weekends (but don't ever use the landline) I pay £47.00 per month for Virgin. So my Phone, Broadband and Sky TV as described would cost me approx £120.00

Re: Contract renewal offer

Don't have Sky sports and don't want it but it's included in the renewal

How do I stop that

@Bobbie+Lawrence

Could it have been added as part of a discount on another add on? You will need to contact Sky to remove it. Be aware if you have 'in contract' discounts you may not be able to remove it. You may be able to remove it from your My Sky account at
https://www.sky.com/mysky/tv/tv-packs
otherwise you can either call Sky or use the messaging service to cancel this
