Contract renewal offer or not ..

So , out of contract for TV in a couple of weeks time .

Ive spoke to several advisors over the past few weeks to try and get best deal I could .

so here goes

been with Sky for 25 years, as they've all told me im a very loyal valued customer so they will find a great deal for me .

Except every deal has meant my price going up ?
so much for great deal for loyal and valued customer.

Be interested to see any thoughts on this

March bill was £78.50 , which was my contract price ,

April , bill increased to £84.50 because of annual rpi price rise etc ...

May , will be out of contract.

Cheapest I've negotiated after several phone calls etc ......

is £92.50 .

thats for

Signature

Ult tv ( now called boost ) with Netflix

Sports

Cinema

HD

Multiroom

At a push , I could possibly get rid of Sports + Cinema ,

that would bring price down to £57.50

Does any of that sound reasonable compared with what others pay for similar set up ?

Re: Contract renewal offer or not ..

Get back onto them, tell them you're not happy with the price, get put through to retentions and see if they offer you a better deal, if not tell them you're still going to cancel, start the procedure, you'll get another offer shortly afterwards hoping you'll stay, if you really want to stay with them and they don't blink first you can still call them back and tell them you've changed your mind and are going to stay at whatever price they offered you.

Re: Contract renewal offer or not ..

Thanks for your feedback ,

that last offer was actually through customer retentions .
I'd previously spoke with a few other advisors over a few weeks to get an idea of renewal price .
Think I'll try again in a couple of days , if nothing cheaper , throw in the cancellation
