Constant loss of internet connection on skyq

I hope someone can help.I have tried all the usual suggestions of turning off  box and then router and it works for a while and then goes down again.I have bt internet

Try splitting the 5 and 2.4GHz wifi networks on your router to different SSID names. The Q can only use 2.4GHz with non-Sky routers and this has helped some people.

other than that, I gave up on Q's wifi with BT (and subsequently a fibre indie)

Thank you for responding,I have found out that the Wi-Fi is already split so I will keep looking for solutions

BT routers used to have this "smart wifi" thing which has a rep for causing problems with Q. I never used one (homehub 6 or something introduced it but I was already using my own router and wifi mesh by then)

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply but I wouldn't know how to make the changes that you suggest

It was a very obvious option back in the day so if it's not there on the router config I suspect BT no longer do the same thing.

Honestly I would try powerlines, ethernet connections to those and disabling wifi.

I gave up on wifi after fighting this battle for years.
