Constant issues with connectivity on sky q

I keep having connectivity issues with my sky q my main box decides to throw off the wifi so then i need to reconnect it with ssid and password and my mini box keeps dropping off the network everyday spoke to customer service countless times who seem to be no help at all. Has anyone got any advice of what i can try to stop it from disconnecting ive tried network resets factory resets to no avail

Hi @xchrissyboix23 Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

Hi @Quoman7 sorry for the late response i tried all of those steps to no avail but what seems to have stopped the issue is going onto my bt smart hub 2 admin settings and changing the 5ghz channel to 44 im currently monitoring it at the moment but all is looking good

@xchrissyboix23  If you still get connectivity problems try turning off "smart connect" on your BT router?
