Which WiFi boosters do you have from BT? The 'Whole Home' discs?
The Q mini boxes won't connect to your BT WiFi, they are trying to find their way back to the Sky WiFi mesh being generated by the main Q box.
But, if the BT discs are close enough to a Q mini, you can connect the mini box to the Ethernet port on the back of the disc, turning off WiFi in the mini box settings.
There is actually quite a bit of content on here and the BT Community for helping with Sky Q and a BT Whole Home set up, but YMMV as it all depends on your home layout, and where the boxes and discs are in relation to each other.
Otherwise it is getting hold of a Sky Q booster as already suggested and making sure the Sky Q mesh is operating on a different frequency to the BT one to avoid a clash.

Re: Connectivity
Hi @Johnyb The best way is to use an Ethernet connection between boxes.

Yes.
A Q Mini box won't use the signal from your BT disks.
