Connections between SkyQ and mini boxes

I've been having connectivity problems between our 3 mini boxes and the Sky Q box.

I contacted Sky and was offered a new Sky Q box and one new mini box, which were delivered yesterday afternoon by DPD.

Sky Q box is set up fine, however the new mini box repeatedly failed to connect, but after reboots of everything including EE router, it has now connected but is still with an unstable signal.

We do also have a Sky signal booster.

Lost for options, any help appreciated thanks.

@Sunnymead19 to what are you conneting the mini box ? to your router ? your main Q box  ? or the booster thats connected to your main Q box ?

The first thing to note is that with 3rd party ISPs (& more recent SKY routers) only the main box connects to your routers.

The minis connect to a wifi signal generated by the main box.

Is the SKy booster specifically a SKY Q booster (or one from having SKY broadband previously) ?

To be honest, I have no idea what the mini boxes are connected to ( or not !).

What I do know is that the Sky Q main box is hard wired to the EE router, as is the SKY booster, so direct link to the internet.

Our 3 mini boxes consist of one in the Lounge ( room next to the room with the main box and booster ), then one in bedroom 1 upstairs, one in bedroom 2 upstairs.
