Connection lost & code 3005 mainly Paramount+ but sometimes Netflix, for the last 2 weeks

While watching Paramount+ the service frequently stops, showing a spinning circle, and often stops with a message of lost connection & code 3005

The 3005 error code is a generic catch all networking type error on Paramount+.

 

It sometimes can be cured by a number of things.

Repowering your Sky TV device and broadband router.

Might be worth leaving your broadband router off power for just over half hour, this refreshes its connection paths and resets your WAN ip address for most broadband ISPs.

Try signing out of Paramount+ on your Sky box and sign in again.
