Connection fails

My main box and sky booster downstairs my mini q box in bedroom, all tick and connections are good however I can be watching tv in bedroom turn tv to another programme and then I get blue screen, no recordings etc just a please wait going round and round, have to then go downstairs turn off my the mains , wait a couple of minutes turn back on, follow procedure on screen go back upstairs and picture back again- all good!!!   This is happening nearly every other day it's frustrating and driving me mad!!!! Any ideas anyone PLEASE???? Thank you,🙏
