Connecting to network password not accepted

Signal fine but can't connect to network. Only happened since the storms. Went through the reconnect procedure and got as far as entering password but it wasn't accepted. Tried umpteen times making sure I entered correctly but still not being accepted 🤷‍♀️

Following day I turned off and unplugged everything then left it for a couple of hours. Plugged everything back in turned on went to settings and was automaticity connected without having to enter password. The mind boggles 🤷‍♀️

It's worth noting that it can take several minutes for the Sky Q box to establish & complete the 'handshake' with your router. Glad it's working now
